“I stayed for a couple of nights at the brilliant Troutbeck Inn during a brief trip south. A first time visit to a welcoming inn which now feels like a home from home, and I very much look forward to returning with a bit more time in hand.”

“Room very warm & cosy, lovely underfloor heating in the bathroom. Not really a wardrobe but a small cupboard with hanging space!! Fab food, great breakfast but you can’t have a latte coffee at breakfast!! Also breakfast finishes at 9.45am even at the weekend! Lovely dining room and great bar. Definitely good value and lovely location. Xx”

“Great value for money. The staff were so helpful and friendly and the food was amazing The pool and hot tub were an added bonus and we used them every morning before breakfast We had a very relaxing long weekend and will definitely be back in the future ”
