“Lovely hotel in a lovely location however the room we stayed in seemed like it hadn’t been used for a while, cobwebs in the bathroom and the balcony where the hot tub sat needed a very good clean with spiders nests in the ceiling. On arrival the hot tub wasn’t working properly however they arranged for maintenance to come quickly to sort. Overall a nice stay but could do with utilising clever storage and having a fridge in the room would feel like a benefit. Beautiful breakfast but not 100%...

“Rooms were nice and clean but we had an annoying noise coming from an air vent inside a wardrobe that drove us wild, made them aware and they attempted a bodge to cover it up but it still persisted and spoiled our sleep. The only other complaint is when we were dining a family with young children had been eating beside us and the kids had food on the floor, due to the hot weather there were a lot of flies about and they were congrigating around the food on the floor. “Beautiful setting. Restaurant was mixed- I had a vegetarian dish that was excellent, while my husband had a chicken Caesar salad that was inedible. Desk staff on arrival were cold & unwelcoming.”
