“Great bar food and evening spent here after a long day walking. Even had sky sports. Single Room was good for what I wanted and bathroom facilities Good. Only down was noisy floor on the corridor outside rooms on first floor which creaked with every person walking the floor. Early morning or late evening. Needs a bit of work. Saying that it was good value for money amd would use the place again as access to Wast Water and area”

“Well appointed room with everything you need and stunning view.”

“Bonito hotel”

“Very clean room & beautiful building but quite tired and dated in parts. The bar is ridiculously expensive, £36 for 2 gin & tonics is morally wrong! Also the £25 per night parking charge is ridiculous considering the price you pay to stay in the hotel this should just be included. We parked in railrigg car park and paid £19 for 3 days instead. “Sarah was amazing at multitasking. Superb service. Very spacious rooms. So clean and well maintained. Breakfast included. Dog friendly. Great views.”

“Victor and Johanna were so friendly and warm, we felt valued. The breakfasts were delicious! The hotel was clean, comfortable and we appreciated the easy parking. Being so close to restaurants and the town center made walking about so easy. We highly recommend this bed and breakfast.”

“No SPA was available as was advertised.”

It's also walkable to hikes at Skiddaw and Catbells. Our room on the first floor was spacious and comfortable with a nice bed for sleeping after an active day. Our...

“It was too busy on our last morning as we could not have breakfast for the que wait time sadly”

“Had an overnight stay at Mary Mount Hotel. Staff were so welcoming and friendly throughout stay. Dinner was first class and so well presented. Will definitely book sgain. Thank you.”

“Pretty average”

“🌟”

“Breakfast was very good. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Property is in need of some TLC, and could be an excellent venue. Gardens in need of de-weeding and some cutting back on trees, brambles etc.”
