“Lovely spot and will be amazing when the work is complete Our room was clean and comfortable, the breakfast was great and freshly cooked to order and all the staff were pleasant and helpful. Yes there is a lot of building work/renovations taking place but we knew that beforehand and no issue.”

“Hall is looking tired on the outside with visable broken and boarded up windows at the very top. Room was dated, we stayed in the Munro studio, no windows that open and looks directly onto the back entrance so needed to keep blinds down otherwise people could see straight in as this is a ground floor room. Opposite kitchen so could smell the cooking. What made this stay was the lovely staff and evening meals were great”

“Our stay here was brief but I was happy to see that they were willing to serve dinner not long before closing. (There aren’t a lot of dining choices nearby.) It is an older property but everything functioned and was clean. Boot tray in the closet for wet boots was a good feature, although we lucked out with the weather. We also appreciated the bottled water. We enjoyed the cook-to-order breakfast and overall friendliness of the property. The view of the bridge and stream was outstanding. ”

“It was a really pleasant stay all staff was so lovely, everything was lovely and relaxing i would most definitely stay again, shame the weather let us down a bit but still had a great stay. The only thing that was missing a mirror in the room to get ready hair etc.”

“The hot is having improvement works being done. The rooms are well presented and have everything needed. The bed was okay, I didn't particularly find the bed comfortable but could have been me. Breakfast the first day was fine though they did get my breakfast wrong, a couple of others were similar, the second day was fine. You can still see the areas still to be updated but does look like well on the way. The staff were friendly and helpful.”
