“We had a very pleasant stay at the Woodlands. Our room was a reasonable size and fully equipped. The bed was comfortable. There are some signs of age showing however, everything was clean and for the rate charged we felt we had excellent value. The breakfast was outstanding. ”

“This accommodation is perfectly located - less than 5 minutes walk from bars, cafés, restaurants & shops...less than 1 mile from attractions (World of Beatrix Potter) & the main hub. The staff were very friendly and helpful (my elderly Mum was incorrectly allocated a twin room, however the Receptionist promptly offered a replacement double room for her). The rooms were spacious and included a king sized bed (very comfortable), large tv, selection of tea/coffee, range of toiletries...however...

“Absolutely amazing stay , so comfortable, Suzanna and Pamela are amazing hosts , couldn't do enough for us. From male the room gorgeous everyday to sorting taxis and giving the warmest welcome every morning at breakfast. My husband is always looking at facilities and cleanliness and said it was by far the best. Toiletries were a lovely touch and every comfort catered for. We will definitely be back ”
