“We arrived early so had a drink in the bar, check in was at 4 but they started to let people check in at 15:40, it was smooth and there were no issues, the lady was friendly and very helpful. “The lodge was very well equipped with kitchen items. Only thing that will let it down. Could’ve done with the bit of a clean, dust specially, when you have asthma, and the dust doesn’t help.But very quiet location and lovely.”

“We purposely booked the advertised 8 birth turned lodge as it clearly stated in the property details, this had a hot tub. Upon arrival and when given the keys we questioned why we hadn’t been given the lodge we paid for and the response was VRBO had just used a description and falsely advertised the lodge had a hot tub. “We really enjoyed our stay! The listing said it had a hot tub but when we arrived it didn’t. I read after that the external company listed it incorrectly. The only down side was the property wasn’t cleaned very well - old used contact lenses around the desk and bedside table and there was hairs on the bathroom shelf. I did a quick clean myself and throughly enjoyed the rest of our week the location was perfect and our lodge was next to the pond which was lovely.”
