De entrada no habia recepcion cuando llegamos. El velador solo nos dio la llave del cuarto. Los cuartos NO tienen aire acondicionado solo ventilador y en esta fecha hace mucho calor y fue muy incomodo dormir. Ademas toda la noche se escuchaba un generador electrico molesto. El agua para aseo esta salada. Mientras los vecinos limpian la playa del sargazo, este hotel no lo hace y la playa luce sucia. En la mañana estando en la terraza del lado de la playa pedi un cafe y la mesera que estaba limpiando una mesas me dijo que yo fuera por el. Es un lugar muy bonito, mucha vegetación, pero desafortunadamente mal atendido. Los alrededores son fabulosos hay mucha actividad turistica, la limpieza del cuarto impecable, pero desafortunadamente fueron 4 noches muy incomodas. * NO lo recomiendo.*

Me enamoré del Hotel Dos Ceibas Tulum Sólo 14 habitaciones hermosas todas ecológicas, independientes, de estilo maya, hermosas, techos de Palma, hamacas, decoradas con muy buen gusto, a pie de playa y en medio de vegetación selvática. Un paraíso, con los mejores desayunos incluidos y excelente servicio y atención de todo el personal. Desde los de limpieza, meseros, gerentes y dueños. Regresaría y lo recomiendo ampliamente

Muy buen hotel y ubicación
El hotel está en muy buen estado y limpio, con gran personal y comida deliciosa. La ubicación es muy buena pero sin duda falta aire acondicionado en las habitaciones ya que hace mucho calor y no se puede dormir bien.

Barbara Estamos muy contentos de que tu estancia con nosotros haya sido de tu agrado, con el servicio de nuestro personal, que diariamente se compromete a dar lo mejor de si. Desafortunadamente no podemos tener aire acondicionado, ya que 90% de nuestra energia electrica es solar y no nos permite ese tipo de voltage. Entendemos que el calor es un poco fuerte en ocaciones y buscaremos la forma de solucionarlo lo mas pronto posible, sin implicar un A/C. Muchas gracias por tu maravilloso tiempo y por compartirlo con nosotros.

Do not take a chance and stay here. We arrived hungry tired and after a long day of travel on New Years Eve eager to freshen up and go celebrate. What we arrived to was a security guard (no staff) that did not speak english and that the property had sold our room. No one showed up from the staff to help us. We had to stay on the phone with Expedia for hours and could not leave wifi. We were offered no water, no food and had not eaten or drank for hours. By 12 midnight we had given up, expedia could not find us another hotel within 15 miles that was vacant and we had to sleep on the beach with all our stuff in the wind. The next morning we ate breakfast at the hotel and again staff never addressed us or said a think. Not even a simple "I'm sorry". They simply DO NOT CARE. We found another hotel for the rest of the week and were treated with care, thank God. I would never take a chance on this place just simply based on pure basic customer service.

Great gem in Tulum!
Fantastic experience for our family! Mike, Marco and Emmanuel and others on the service staff took the best care of us, recommending food options, a quick senote to visit on foot on their sister property, shifting us to another room as needed and overall helpful in answering all the questions. The hotel is good if you are looking for relaxing time in an eco friendly settings( no AC, no plastic bottles for water/toiletries, reusuable linens and simple rooms) without noisy club sounds till midnight. Tulum around the hotel was very safe, highly guarded at all times and quite walkbale! Don't miss on their breakfast and in-house juices and drinks! It's wonderful! Beach access is included and its almost private! We will definitely return again!

It is a small Quiet Beautiful property with friendly staff. If you want a place away from the world and modern comforts dont matter to you its the place for you. If Air Conditioning, Wifi that is reliable and bathing in water that isnt salt that i would suggest finding somewhere else. We enjoyed the stay but the Wifi which we needed was pretty bad in our room. The fans were ok and we were able to sleep but wouldve preferred the air for sure. but this is what you would expect in a eco friendly hotel so overall we were happy.

The property was clean and in an amazing location. The staff was great and very helpful with booking excursions or other services i.e., transportation. Wait staff also excellent and very friendly and attentive. This hotel is in a great location if you want to have a quiet vacation- party scene is a 15 minute beach walk. There is NO A/C, however the sea breeze and the fan was MORE than enough. My husband and I like to sleep in cold environments, but this was perfect- we stayed at the ocean front cabana. Overall, excellent resort, highly recommended.

My first time staying at an Eco-friendly place and it was interesting and enjoyable. It did disconnect us from daily life routines. No TV, no ac, no fridge! We were kind of confused at first few hours but later on, we appreciated that. First, we Were greeted by Daniel and he was so informative and helpful throughout the stay. The staff was so friendly and nice especially Elizabeth and Miguel at the breakfast area every morning. Breakfast in the early morning around 8 by the beach is PRICELESS. This was our first time in Mexico and Tulum is beautiful. I recommend renting a car so you can roam free at your own convenience rather than relying on Taxis (be aware of those!!!)

This property was absolutely beautiful and peaceful. I never had to leave. The service and food were amazing. My room was super clean and so well decorated. It’s literally right on the beach. I’m going to return as often as possible

Hôtel en accord avec ses principes éco responsables. Lieu très calme et sûr. Personnel très serviable. Bons petits déjeuners prix plutôt élevé mais en cohérence avec les autres structures de la zone hôtelière.

Beautiful but the service not so good
The place is super nice locatated on the beach with a beautiful jungle experience. My and my friends stayed in dos celbas for 5 days and overall enjoyed it however , there where a few things not so good. For example, the customer service was not as great. There where instances when they have tried to over charge us or have an attitude about us.

The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. The grounds are beautiful and the location right on the beach is fantastic. They have great cabanas and beach layout with a nice ocean breeze which was completely relaxing and wonderful. Breakfast was served everyday overlooking the beach with a nice breeze which was heavenly. Tulum was VERY hot and humid during our trip (end of April/Early May) and the lack of AC was very challenging. Unless you're in the ocean front cottage, you don't really get a breeze in your room from the windows and even with the fans it can be challenge. Otherwise the rooms were nice enough. Overall it was a great value for the grounds, staff, location and overall experience. Just be prepared to be warm at night when you sleep if you go during humid months.

Hyper relax
Nous avons adoré notre séjour de 2 semaines au Dos Ceibas. C’est un petit hotel dans la verdure. On n’a pas l’impression d’être dans un hotel mais plus d’être reçu dans la famille. L’ambiance est hyper relaxante. Le personnel est efficace et chaleureux. On vit pieds nuds dans le sable et la plage est magnifique (mais il faut que les hôtels se groupent pour résoudre le problème d’algues). Bref, on a passé le plus relaxant des séjours

Absolutely loved our stay al hotel Dos Ceibas. It was perfect. Do keep in mind this property does not have A/C nor a television but it is not needed. The temperature was perfect. We stayed in November. The staff are super friendly and the hotel is very clean. Room is cleaned daily and the cleaning staff does great. There is a bar and restaurant by the shore. It’s breathtaking.

Great place to enjoy Tulum.
Amazing place. Accommodations: we stayed at a cabin with garden view , clean, comfortable, pretty. With a private space outside the room to chill and enjoy life in the hammock. Room didn’t have AC but we didn’t need it (November). A couple of fans well located in the room were enough. Hotel Facilities: the hotel has the vibe of being inside the jungle which we loved with a sand path to get you anywhere inside the hotel clean and well maintained. Beach club was great , comfortable and stylish beach beds, agile service from the restaurant and a beautiful beach. No DJ or music … which is better in our opinion. WiFi access was everywhere, simple and fast. Restaurant/Food: we went to different restaurants in the area, and our conclusion was that food at the restaurant was way better. Special mention to the Breakfast!! Amazing presentation, flavor and served on the beach and it was included! And overall great place.

Nice hotel in Tulum
I traveled with my sister. The room was clean and neat. The water from the faucet was too little. It can get very hot with no A/C so be prepared. The bed is too firm and pillows not comfortable at all. The hotel is nice and quiet, and has a nice beach club. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. Some were wearing masks and some we not.
